The idea for this song I had while sitting in a small town in a theatre play starring a friend's uncle who came from the city.
It's about someone who wants to cut a circle in a piece of paper and gets interrupted by unexpected visit. What's left behind is the scissors hanging in the sheet, its rough penetration in the middle, the cut to the circle's side and the clean edge of the finished half.
In the evening he rediscovers this and is furious about how he could have left the world in the dark for so long.
